  • lk in la - Perfect point. It's all about self-control. Kids today are bombarded with VERY suggestive musical lyrics, TV programs, etc. Parents, WHERE ARE YOU?? What kind of example do you set yourselves with what you watch on TV and listen to??? Kids normally absorb what surroundings they are in.

  • They are a lot of conservatives who don't often agree with what Rush Limbaugh or Pat Robertson say, myself being one. I don't like hate from either side. I don't know why everyone needs to spew hate - just be factual without spite, please.

  • I would imagine most of the posters here learned by the old method of chalk/chalkboard and paper/pencil instead of laptops. I do realize there is constantly new information via the internet, but some things remain the same, i.e. mathematics, grammar, and spelling.

  • I live in Parker Griffith's district. I normally vote Republican, but switched over and voted for him in the election. Despite what posters are saying on here, I'm not sure he will lose the election. What will cause him to win or lose will be his ability to help the North Alabama area.
